I looked this up at Jim Breen's place, but I gots nutin'. Does it mean a "small heavenly vacation" hehe. Probably not. I'd like to know. Thanks

I used the "translate words in Japanese text" option at Jim's site and got:
Shouten (given name),
Oama (place name; surname), and
Koama (surname) for 小天.
Perhaps that will help you.

おそらく読み間違えかと・・・・
それが「小天体(しょうてんたい)」なら僕の知ってる日本語です。
小さな天体のことですね。

ついでに・・・・すこし前に「天体観測(てんたいかんそく)」してたのは"bump of chicken"
最近の彼らは「プラネタリウム planetarium」を見ているらしい。;)

おお、ごめんなさい。 It should have been 小天体. Which apparently means small heavenly body (although it seems to be an abbreviation, I think). I found it on wikipedia japan, while looking up the solar system (太陽系). And I'm like, "what's this, I know these kanji, but I don't know this word, huh?" So thank you both for your assistance. I've been a fool.

One more thing! Are 小さい and 小さな both acceptable. Is this adj. both (i) and (na). eh?
