RE: JLPT3 chat study group
And one of the walks.
You're right, they're great : I loved the Jack the ripper one, as Whitechapel is not what I knew better but fairly interresting, though.
Good luck with the Harry Potter and its furigana : I read the two last ones in Japan, but in English, as they were just released when I was there
As for japanese, I'm back to TV shows and newspapers articles, what I usually do with my teacher. So I'm presently discovering the ハンケン world.
Sleep well, Tanuki!

RE: JLPT3 chat study group
I know it's still early, but anybody interested in a group for 2008?
Or should I start a new thread?
I was supposed to take level 4 in 2007; aiming low to get a feel for the test before I got to the hard stuff, but unfortunately life got in the way (got laid off)
I'd like to go ahead and take JLPT 3 for 2008 and would really appreciate a good study group to help build a routine, schedule, and syllabus around for getting ready for the test; as I'm not going to be able to afford formal classes this year.

Pork Chop さん はじめまして。
Yes, I think starting a new thread would be better since this thread was made for 2007.
I hope this new group will help many members.
Good luck with your Japanese studies.

Sorry guys for the late reply. Regarding the test, I'm rather uncertain. Quite lost inbetween.

Never mind, Terence, there is always next December ^_^
I have the sneaky suspicion I may have marked my number wrong on the first form. I almost did on the second...
Considering how many people entered the test, I don't think anyone is going to bother correcting that number

icic... But I hope that if possible, get thru level 3 and get on to level 2 asap. As I saw the news from this forum that they might implement another level soon. And this somehow is bothering me... T_T
I really hope that I could do it once and do it right. I understand the pain of retaking.

Re: JLPT3 chat study group
To avoid further confusion, would it make sense to change the title of this thread to "JLPT3 chat study group 2007"?
It is actually easier than it looks to stumble upon a thread that has recent updates, and automatically assume that it pertains to the current year.

Txkun, you are the OP of this thread.
How about asking admins/moderators to lock this thread? Since the role of the thread is over.
Otherwise, only a spammer-like people will add posts in this thread. ( or people who can't read even a thread title. )

SS-san, thank you for your attention for the spamming act. Your warning to Takashishinohara on the shout box is quite right.

Coco-san, thank you for bringing his shout posts here.
I wanted to use あなた instead of "貴方"
When Wakannai-san asked him to stop spamming, he was rude, and he started using Japanese to say something which I couldn't even figure out that was natural Japanese or not! I dislike person like him! Trying to show off or to bully or something?
