するんだな
Am I correct in thinking this is a slang way of saying "didn't do, Eh"?

RE: surundana
I can help actally break down what the sentence is:
するんだな: する - to do; ん - gives an explainatory tone (i think); だな - I'm guessing it's an imperitive form, with the だ for emphasis?
For imperitive you can have, say 食べろ - which is telling someone "eat!" Likewise the negative of it is 食べるな which means "don't eat!" Of course you won't hear this in an everyday conversation, at least I hope not.
