Osaka differences?

I'm moving to Osaka in one month as an year-long high school exchange student, and I was curious about the nuances of culture in Osaka versus the rest of Japan.

I've been studying some Osaka-ben, but haven't really found a good site for learning it.

Any cultural/language differences that people let me know me know of?

Dialect isn't something that without, makes impossible to live somewhere.

You will learn it along the way.

As for the nature of Osaka, proud, forward and humorous to try and sum it up in three words.

I wouldn't call the differences between Osaka and the rest of Japan as much of a "nuance" as a "full out war"

Remember that anyone in TV and film wanting to seem cool affects an Osaka accent. We are the shite, and anyone saying different is a closet wannabe.

Ok since no one's really giving you an answer, and hopefully you didn't go out and by a book since you apparently have access to the internet, Kansai dialect sounds cooler. say -hen instead of -masen/-nai. old ladies have purple and orange hair. honma instead of hontou, yan instead of jan, meccha instead of totemo

they got good takoyaki too, if you like that kinda thing.
