My tastes are somewhat varied. Some Japanese artists I like are コブクロ, Kitaro, and Negishi Satori

Not surprisingly, I appear to be the only fan of ウルフルズ. But then, I like them enough for this whole board. B)

This thread is old as dirt, but i'll add to it. Just like in american music, i like a good mix. I like Miyavi and gackt, and at the same time i like Utada Hikaru, and Otsuka Ai. I just like to mix it up a bit. Uverworld has a descent sound. Same with Glay , i just don't know how old the music is really.

J-rock n J-pop rocks !
I really like The Pillows, Ellegarden, Bump of Chicken, Greeeen, Soul'd Out, Mika Nakashima, Olivia, Snow..
I used to listen to Kousuke Atari.. but I find it gets gloomier n gloomier n painfully slow.. some songs I find it similar to Buddhist chants... but I still like Hana..

RE: Japanese music
wow. i'm so glad that i'm not the only turbo-nerd here. i don't know many japanese bands, but i do like alot of anime themes. the beginning and ending themes for zombie-loan really rock. megumi hayashibara is very good, with "northern lights," "cruel angel's thesis," and the love hina theme. and most of the music from the da capo anime is very good too, like "sakurairo no kisetsu" by yozuca*. and i don't know many of yui horie's songs, but i do know that i love her voice.
um, did megumi actually do the "cruel angel's thesis"? some sources say she did and some say she didn't, so i'm confused.

RE: Japanese music
Right now, I have コブクロ stuck in my head.Specifically, ここにしかさかない花
Also, Every Little Thing’s 冬がはじまるよ feat.槇原敬之
Guess that’s what I get for leaving Winamp playing in my ears when I go to bed.

I mainly listen to J-Pop and now a lot of J-Rock. I began experimenting with J-Rock about a year ago and now I love it.
My favorite bands are, Ellegarden, Base Ball Bear, The Pillows, Snowkel, ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATIONS and An Cafe every now and then.

I feel like I'm confessing to liking the backstreet boys when I write this *LOL* since Arashi reminds me of a Japanese boy band. I LOVE ARASHI!
