Re: test
Weird! I still can see X icon ( can delete sign) on the "New ChatRoom" thread (posted on 08:50 am, in the other forum ), but there is no X icon on the 09:24 am post on this thread.
ともあれSSさん、ご協力、ありがとう。
I sometimes log-in to the forum from //s229436726 (unexpectedly), sometimes I can, sometimes fail. Then I re-try from //www.thejapanesepage.com/.
If you use s229.., you might want to try from //www.thejapanesepage.com. I'm not sure though..

Edit: The answer is in FAQ

How do I edit or delete a post?
Unless you are a board administrator or moderator, you can only edit or delete your own posts. You can edit a post by clicking the edit button for the relevant post, sometimes for only a limited time after the post was made. If someone has already replied to the post, you will find a small piece of text output below the post when you return to the topic which lists the number of times you edited it along with the date and time. This will only appear if someone has made a reply; it will not appear if a moderator or administrator edited the post, though they may leave a note as to why they’ve edited the post at their own digression. Please note that normal users cannot delete a post once someone has replied.

I made a few changes on how the cookie works. Maybe that will help. If not, I can extend the cookie's session.

Re: test
Any new problems or issues? Coco has been kind enough to collect the problems and mark them solved as we go. The only remaining known problems:
Newest threads column, sitewide avatars, and site links will be solved when the forums are themed, I hope, this week.
Please post any problems or suggestions here.
Thank you very much for your patience through all the server moves (plural!)

Re: test
Another thing is striking me as weird.
I come in, click "View New Posts" -- and I not only get "new posts" (things since I was last on last night) but actually posts going back three days. Those are NOT new posts.

Re: test
Tony, when that happens are you still logged in? I get that if the browser I'm using stays away from the forums over a day--without re-logging in.
EDIT: Actually, I see what you mean. It wasn't like that before, but it must have happened when I changed something with the cookies to make the user stay logged in.

15) Green(inflation of mods) → Fixed
Wakannai: it seems like all the newest people lately are being promoted automatically to green. I want a cool color too!

Hehe, I'd call it an invasion of mods
Actually, I think It's a theme issue. New members show as the same color as Global Mods at the bottom of the page. So it looks like every new member is a Mod. So I was starting to think that we were being flooded by mods. I kept on seeing new names, but every time I saw a new name, it was green.

it is pretty difficult writing legibly with a mouse in paint.
