One more down....
Today I met Harisenbon, in person.
I feel the circle is nearly complete...
Perhaps a trip to Tony's house is in order.

I think you'll have to travel a bit farther to meet Tony (unless he's planning a trip your way.)

Or... have the great TJP 2008 convention in Hawaii to meet halfway?

This is about the only online community where I would actually look forward to meeting the faces behind the veil.

Well, there's also the Hooters Girls Forum....
But I think they're all 47-year-old, fat, balding men...

If anyone ever makes it down to Kyushu drop me a PM. I'd love to meet some of the regulars here.

Gar,
Finally getting to log on after a week in Toyko.
It was good seeting keatonatron in person. This marks 2 people from the site that I've actually met in person.
Hoping to meet more in the future.
Tony, you should get your butt to Sekigahara. Then I can go take to you to the one izakaya in that place.

You should come here again then.
It's a little down the road from the pachinko parlor.
There's a regular restaurant (いぶき) across the street from the pachinko parlor.
I think it's one of the only places that can be qualified as a restraurant in the entire town.

Re: One more down....
That's something that amazes me.
The entire town of Gettysburg, PA, seems to revolve around the battlefield. A HUGE chunk of the town is national territory, and there are piles of museums and attractions and shops that ALL gear toward Civil War memorabilia and the like.
Sekigahara?
Squat. Well, there is that little (LITTLE!) museum. And a pile of flags next to the outhouse on the paddies, and a pile of flags halfway up the opposing mountain.
Jeez. I just don't get it.

Re: One more down....
So what does a SfCA member that specializes in Japanese sengoku period do in an area that is pretty much dominated with US Civil War members?
