japanese proverbs & yojijukugo
i think a nice addition to the site would be some traditional japanese proverbs, probably in the fun section under lessons. you know, stuff like 猿も木から落ちる (さる も き から おちる) - even monkeys fall from trees/everyone makes mistakes, etc.
it'd also be nice to see a collection of yojijukugo, whether lumped in with the proverbs or under their own section. anyway, just thought i'd throw it out there.

You mean similar to the Kotowaza & Sayings section of the site?
Don't complain to me that people kick you when you're down. It's your own fault for lying there

Or Clay's Proverbs.
Actually, this would be a good idea for the Book section. There is a type of Drupal page that categorizes data by chapters like a book. This makes it easy to add 'pages' to the most logical chapters.
I'll start working on it soon.
Thanks for the idea!

Yes! Like that, but to be honest, unless someone already had that as a favorites, it isn't very intuitive as to where to find it. I had also wondered where this function had gone to with the new site. I must admit I find myself like a fish out of water with the new set up. I try to navigate my way around but I find that I am more confused the further along I crawl.

Woohoo! I found 四字熟語 from the main page; I'm so happy! And I'm sorry I didn't know about the Kotowaza page, but as two_heads_talking said, it's not easy to find. Can't wait to see more added in the future.

Thanks Shippai--I've been working on the Kotowaza/sayings/yojijukugo section after seeing your comment here last week.
Phreadom suggested a better naming scheme for the pages. I'm working on that too. Hopefully things will be easier to find and easier to remember in the near future.
