シュウクリームはなんですか?

Postby Qaantar » Sat 04.05.2008 11:19 am

I've seen pictures, and I've seen it mentioned in stories, but it's still hard to tell.

Is it like a custard? And what exactly is the "シュウ" part of the name?

It's choux creme/cream afaik, choux pastry filled with fresh cream. Think profiteroles/cream puffs. Choux pastry is a very light and fluffy kind of pastry, usually piped. I dislike it. :P

The シュウ is from French "chou". You should be able to see pictures of this just by putting the katakana into google images.

You mean that doesn't mean "Shoe Creme"?

I guess that explains why my shoes are always sticky and covered with ants. :?
