Re: RSS feed content
Woot! Fixed.
Perseverance pays off!
Try it out again Jim? I've tried different forums specifically as well as the "all forums" options and they all worked for me in Google Reader now.
Richv pointed out another bug to me however... when you subscribe to all topics, it seems to only show the initial post in the topic, not the most recent.
I'm still looking into it. We'll get this going smoothly yet.

Bingo! I was able to subscribe and got about 10 posts in this forum. I'll see if
any come through on other forums.
I guess if I want to change my selectionI have to delete it Google Reader and
resubscribe on the TJP page with a different choice?
Thanks for this. Quite a breakthrough.

Re: RSS feed content
It appears so. It refers to the forums and options numerically, so you pretty much have to choose them from here and resubscribe it seems.
The issue with the topics is that it literally only shows the latest topics, it doesn't care about the posts in the topics. So if you want to see the latest posts, you accordingly select posts instead of topics and highlight the forums you want.
I guess it makes sense.

Seems to be working fine.
Another question: is it possible to indicate which forum a post is coming from?
Perhaps even just by putting the forum number in the name of the the thread, e.g.
Re: [7] train talk
I can dig that out by expanding the quotation and hovering over the URL, but
making it more explicit would be easier (putting the forum name in would be even better,
but I suspect that would be harder.)
Thanksfor the great progress.

Yes. I can work on adding that in tonight.

Testing.
EDIT: Well, that certainly broke horribly.
Trying to figure out why... put it back to normal for now.
