Yea, I'm all for implementing a thread rule that the pictures can only be from the friends box, not the contents of an add.

Do you have something against stalking, Mr "I-have-something-against-stalking-because-it's-illegal-and-creepy"?

It almost makes me wish there was an "archive" button.
With this thread, now there will be an archive

I see... I'm getting hassled for posting the 2 pics.
Oh well. I won't do it again.

Re: "Best of" TJP Friends
Well, it was a fair point at least. The "Best of" should only be exactly what is posted on the "friends" sidebar, nothing more.

LOL, I read that the same way.
I'm positive I've said much worse in Japanese though
Don't complain to me that people kick you when you're down. It's your own fault for lying there

bold added. That's a pity. I thought she might be looking for a long term abusive relationship.

Re: "Best of" TJP Friends
I'll admit, I don't know exactly how Friends works. I've seen it as a sidebar here on TJP, but I'm nearly positive I've also seen it elsewhere. At the very least, I know I've seen individual pictures of some of the people featured on Friends on other sites. After all, some of the photos are quite memorable.
My questions are as follows: Are the people featured on Friends real people or just models and/or stock photos? Are the captions written by real people (specifically the one who's photo is attached) looking for Friends or are they made up by copywriters to go along with stock photos?
In other words, if these are bona-fide people sincerely looking for Friends, can they see this site? Can they read this thread and your comments about them?

It is part of a network. I think they have 150 site partners. Many of them are on big Japanese sites.
My questions are as follows: Are the people featured on Friends real people or just models and/or stock photos?
Yes, they are real members (I am 99.99999% sure)

That I don't know, but I would be surprised if they weren't authentic. When you fill out your profile, there is a space for a caption. If the captions are written by copywriters, I'm not sure if they should be fired or given a raise.
if these are bona-fide people sincerely looking for Friends, can they see this site? Can they read this thread and your comments about them?
Theoretically yes, but probably most of the Japanese members are members through sites in Japan (or Singapore or China...)

Thank you for the explanations, Clay. I ask these questions because I worry about the potential for hurt feelings...

Snowflake-san, for your information, you can listen a short interview of Mr. Dominic Penaloza, who is a CEO of Meta4 Group Ltd., which operates WorldFriends Networks, from here.
The article about him written in Japanese(page 1-4) with an English translation ( page 5-11) is here(pdf file). It was shown on a Japanese business magazine called 日経ビジネス, issued last Oct.
