Thank all that is holy.
I've been waiting for this book to come out forever.
My pristine, once opened copy of Intermediate needs a shelf-partner.
Don't know why I've never gotten around to using it. Just never did. :/

Yes, I love these books. I can't wait to see what this one has. We are getting our shipment in by boat... (probably another month or so)
Actually, I may be in Japan before they arrive here in Florida...
(EDIT: Oops, I had written a 'week or so' but it will be a 'month or so' -- sorry!)

Lots of good stuff, including an interesting discussion of politness vs. formality.
I think I've tried my poor husband's patience by trying to get him to quiz me out of it already.

I didn't even know there was such a book planned. This is great; I started Japanese in college with Nakama 1 & 2 (same authors), which led me to get the basic and intermediate dictionaries, which I love.

The publisher finally fixed the link to the sample pages and they can be found at http://bookclub.japantimes.co.jp/act/en/Detail.do?id=1295
It has, among other things, the table of contents and part of the index, but unfortunately not all of it. But, I already see a few items I'm interested in.
