What do you mean? You were automatically in the chat, or that you were logged into the website without having to put in your username and password?
More details please.

Okay, I think I understand how the chat works now.
When I'm logged in here, I can enter the chat room automatically without having to put my username and password.

Flashchat is just a flashy chat program.
Is that the function that allows one to mouse over a kanji/character and see the defintion in english, hiragana, etc?

Re: The new TJP chat
One thing I don't like as much about the web chat is that if you go do something else for several minutes it disconnects you. I can probably up the timeout on it to "fix" that... but it's one thing that I prefer Jabber for. I tend to go work on other things for awhile and then come back to read what I missed. The other thing I like about Jabber is logging... I'm a packrat and log all my chats.
