Textbooks/language material for teenagers?

Have a textbook or grammar book that you find particularly helpful? What about a learning tip to share with others?

his prices are really good and the shipping and handling went incredibly smooth

i saved a huge amount of money buying from him, just check out his shop and give him a chance ^^

I cannot agree more with sushi on this. Clay's store is simply incredible with its huge selection and great prices. I've purchased over $300 in books from his store. Also, chances are that if you have trouble finding it elsewhere, Clay will usually have it and at a great price.

I don't think I will buy JFBP because when I got it out of my library, I don't think it seemed very good 8)

Definately, Clay's store is my first choice, no matter what. I have heard of people buying the Genki books fo over $100 on ebay and such sites. I got the Genki 1 textbook AND workbook for around $60.

I agree, if everyone here is talking about TheJapanShop.com, they're worth supporting.

The prices alone make it worthwhile, but the site is easy to use and the customer service is great too. Check it out.

I recommend Japanese in Mangaland because I like the way it explains things. I'm on the second book right now.

I will explain it shortly, hope it helps a bit XD.

I have it as well, it's a rather interesting textbook that explains well and is more or less fun at the same time :)
Japanese in Mangaland has 3 text books. Teaching most of what you need to know about JLPT 3 and 4. It has a workbook for the first book of the serie. It explain things with help with extracts of a manga I think. They are at least not from any famous manga. But mostly there are text that explain it, and then there're extract from a manga as an example.

Maybe this explains a bit better.

Wow! It looks good! Ermm, could you please tell me what the first book is like. because, I'm not proper beginner now, I'm more upper beginner so I don't need all the basic phrases and stuff, and I know that's what the first books are normally like.
Thanks :D
