こにち -> こんにちは
おやすみなさい -> means "good night"
Edit: You don't need to write 日本国. 日本 works just fine.

はじめまして is used when you meet someone for the first time.
When you meat someone for the first time you'd probably use a ナイフ

As NathanSp-san pointed out it is こんにちは and it is used from late morning (>10:00am) thru' the afternoon. こんばんは is "good evening"
おやすみなさい (お休みなさい) does mean "good night". It comes from the polite imperative form of the verb やすむ (休む), "to go to bed".

To "meat someone" has very different connotations (slang) in this country and the "meat" is usually pork.

Wouldn't an erroneous error not be an error at all?

He did write in English.. although it was just an elongated form of Arggh! Which is a pretty common form of showing that someone is frustrated.
However, typing full out kanji to someone who has a hard time with vocab and kana, is about as fruitful as pitching pearls to pigs..
