to snow?
I know the word snow is yuki.
But to say it IS snowing would it be yuki masu
and would it be for past tense yuki mashita?
How would you say "it snowed 60 centimeters!"
I wasnt sure if this was right or not. probably totally off.

I got a question too. Past Tense and Present tense.
Past Tense: Did eat?
Present: To eat?

Hi!
Actually, I think making past tense in Japanese is very easy.
It is snowing. 雪が降っています。 yuki ga futteimasu
(降ります furimasu is 'to fall' and used with snow; the て form makes it like the English -ing)
It snowed. 雪が降りました。 yuki ga furimashita.
(you make the past tense by changing ます into ました)
And...
It snowed 60 centimeters. 雪が60センチ降りました。 yuki ga roku juu senchi furimashita.

You mustn't keep saying that lest it hamper your learning. Convince yourself it's all easy.
