Learning Kanji!

Postby Vengeance » Sun 03.06.2005 7:20 pm

Ok, I haven't actually started learning Kanji yet cos the course I am on does not specify me to at the moment cos it's just the basics. But, I would like to get a head-start on everyone else ^^. So, can anyone recommend any free ways of learning Kanji (basics remember cos I haven't started) and any paying ways such as books.

There's a link in the store section (I think it goes to amazon) that has
a HUGE .pdf from a book called Remembering the Kanji by James Heisig.

If you can't find the link here, go to amazon and search for the book. I believe
the link is on the page for the book.

The kanji resources on this site are good. You can start there. :)

I wouldn't have the time to do a Kanji a day though :/. Too much school work and all that. A book would do very nice so if anyone could recommend something that isn't on this site.

I did browse some kanji stuff on this site which was good but I'm kind of looking for a FREE way of learning the basics of kanji and then I will get a book or something when I'm a little more advanced :P.

But... It is free... Ah, maybe you're talking about the electronic dictionaries. I meant the kanji pages on this site, not those.
