Hello

Post by IkimashoZ » Fri 10.28.2005 2:09 am

Hi everyone. I'm a JET currently living it up in Japan. Recently I had a great idea for a language site, and I've been working on it sporadically for a few weeks now. I'm at the point where I need some others to create an account and create some questions on it, so I can impliment the voting system.

The link is in my profile (I know it's annoying, but I know it's rude to post with your link on your first post). I appreciate the help. There's a whole section on my page describing how my website is supposed to work. Please drop me a line here and let me know what you think of my idea. Thanks!

Interesting concept. I spotted a typo in the hiragana lesson, "forty" doesn't have a "u" in it.

Thanks, rich! I saw your question too. Nice work. The voting and ranking system works as I intended it now. The question now becomes, will it accomplish what I want it to accomplish? :)

IkimashouZ now has four lessons up on his site (http://www.linguiquest.com/languagesite/), with enough questions on each lesson to generate quizzes. There are still some things not implemented yet (like the reward system) but it's really starting to shape up. Come an check it out! And you might want to contribute some questions while you're there, I'm getting tired of taking quizzes most of whose questions I wrote.:p
