Squared writing paper / 原稿用紙 / genkō yōshi
Sorry if this in the wrong place, I'm really not sure where it should go.
Does anyone know where I can buy A4 sized squared paper for writing Japanese?
I've looked online and I've looked in the Japan Centre in London but I've not had any luck (maybe I'm not looking for the right thing). I've seen people using it here in the UK but nobody can actually tell me where I can buy it from.
And before someone suggests it, I don't want to print my own.

Here, my favourite ebay seller also sells and ships to the UK:
Japonica 84, is that what you meant?
(Don't ask me why everything's still showing up in German, I have no clue.)
When I was in the Japanese bookstore, they had huge stacks of them
But I'm not buying them since printing proves to be a lot cheaper than buying the notebooks, at least here in Germany but the UK isn't really cheap with imported stuff either.

I never saw any difference between "official" paper for practicing Japanese and ordinary 1/4" graph paper, other than having 2x2 squares bolded slightly for larger practice.

I thought the traditional paper was the genkou youshi paper at the bottom of that page I linked to...
It's also traditional to print it in "landscape" rather than "portrait" mode. To do that, use 'Other' for the size and flip the dimensions around.

Ah well, since ニッキーさん said that she didn't want to print her own (for whatever reason), we should point her to a source of where to get the "real" paper or notebooks.
ニッキーさん, did you take a look at the links we provided?

Yes, thanks. Those ones on eBay look like what I'm looking for, although it's a bit hard to tell from the pictures. I'll just have to buy some and find out.

The pads of it I browsed on the internet didn't have any white space. I guess they were knock-offs.

*facepalm* I hadn't noticed the OP saying "I don't want to print my own" (obviously). Sorry.
