Are you referring to 神子 or is there a more entertaining alternative I'm not thinking of?
I'm guessing spirit child = 精子.
To the OP: 大切 is not the tattoo your girlfriend wants. It does not mean beloved. I don't say this as a tattoo hater either, because I have multiple tattoos myself. If she absolutely is set on getting a kanji tattoo despite being unable to read Japanese/Chinese she should at least listen to the advice of people who can read the language. The closest kanji to the meaning she wants is 愛. Tattoos are hated enough as it is, don't willfully increase the number of stupid tattoos in the world.
