Where in the world are you?
Being new here I have no idea if this has been done before, but it would be interesting to know where everyone is.
I've split this up in time zones, hope I made no mistakes there
Also, there's frappr - a site that allows users to share their locations. It got a little silent about this website in the past few years, but maybe there already is a group for this community. If not, I created one. Would be cool to have an overview there as well.
Well, it's almost 2am in *my* timezone now - では、お休みなさい!

Neat idea. I just said 'hello all' from Florida in the Frappr map.

It says under my avatar, but I'm in Hyogo Japan. It's in the Kansai region, near Osaka, Kyoto, Wakayama and Tottori. Our capital is Kobe.

Well if that number of votes is representative, people here are pretty much spread around the world. That's awesome

Re: Where in the world are you?
UTC+10 Australian Standard Time (or east of it)
That would be New Zealand
UTC+10 is the east coast of Australia so most of Australia (land mass, not population) is west of UTC+10.
My base time is UTC+9:30 (Australian Central Standard Time) but we are currently on Summer Time (Daylight Saving). No valid option for me in the poll
Added myself to the Frappr map.
Don't complain to me that people kick you when you're down. It's your own fault for lying there

Am I the only one who can't see the maps? They all say "Image unavailable".
EDIT: Hrm... not only that, but it doesn't support kana/kanji either.
Looks like frappr is in need of a major overhaul.

This might make a good poll for the front page. Do you mind if I steal the idea? Maybe more people would see it there.

Some problem. Is there a way to force load all the maps so I can see where the pins go? Though I can understand why they only allow the roman alphabet

I am also from the West coast!
I am originally from BC, in Canada. Right now I live in Calgary, as you may have guessed...
I am actually moving back to BC at the end of the month, is it too late to change my username?
