I thought you might be interested in this simple and free Japanese Audio Word of the Day widget / gadget which you can paste into your webpage/blog:

The widget includes a new Japanese word every day, its pronunciation in both kana and romaji and its native speaker audio pronunciation. Adobe Flash is required to play the audio. Here is an example of what
