Pim's Jap Transcripts
Does anyone know of a website that offers transcripts to the Pim's Jap 1,2,or 3? I have to say the course is of high quality, but sometimes its hard to understand certain words. (I do most of my listening in the car to and from work). Any help is appreciated!

When you purchase the beginners lesson for Japanese, the website says it comes with a transcript. Most of Pimsleur programs are like that, so if you didn't get it when you bought Pimsleur for Japanese, then you should complain to who you bought it from.
I don't know if the intermediate and advanced have the transcripts, but the website says pimsleur 1 comes with it.

For the record, if you're studying Japanese you should know by now that a LOT of people find the abbreviation "Jap" to be rather offensive.

nprz--where are you seeing on the website that it comes with a transcript? I have a set from the library that doesn't have a transcript, and when I did a google search, I pulled up a number of message boards where people were looking for transcripts.

I bought my set off ebay for a great price. However, it was only the CDs and no transcripts.

I figured that the "sight reading booklet" would be it, but I don't know.

The booklet I saw just had a few cultural notes. Not a transcript.

I think the correct and respectful abbreviation for "Japanese", would be "Japn.", instead of "Jap"

Japn isn't much of an abbreviation... looks more like a typo.

Hi jinksys, but are the conversations not on top of each page?

I think I know what jinksys is looking for: he doesn't just want the initial conversation but every line in each lesson.
I've been thinking about generating just such a beast, including vocabulary and explanations of grammar to make the Pimsleur course more of an overall Japanese learning course...but who has time? I actually thought that such a thing already existed. Now that I know it doesn't, I'm tempted.

Oh I see, quite a big job if you want to do that, but good luck.
