Increased Japanese Immersion

Post by Omnistegan » Sun 01.11.2009 6:14 pm

So I'm coming up to a slow time in school and decided to use the opportunity to increase the Japanese in my environment.
I went ahead and installed the Japanese version of ubuntu and made a desktop picture to match. Here is an example:

Just wanted to show you all.

Impressive and overwhelming :). Please let us know how this experient goes. I assume you still have access to traditional western versions. At least in my case such a step would be good for the immersion but a calamity for the productivity.

I'm happy to see anyone making efforts to improve their learning environment, but can we refrain from misusing the term "immersion", please?
Never underestimate my capacity for pettiness.
