Who is this guy!?

I saw commercials from this guy in Nippon and he made me fall with laughter.
Does anyone know who he is and where I can find his commercials?

I think that's the guy from 釣りバカ日誌 (Diary of a Fishing Fool). His name is 西田敏行 (NIshida Toshiyuki).

Here's his wikipedia page.

Thanks! Thats definitly him but I can't find this commercial that I saw in Japan last summer....I forgot what it was for but towards the end he spoke in gibberish that had me dying!

Why not search Youtube with his name? They may have something. Or if you remember any key words from the CM maybe search for those.

I tried, and only commercials came up from the 70s, 80s, and 90s. I even went to wikipedia and put in some show names on youtube with no findings:(

Is there anyone that can help me find one of his commercials from last July 2008?
I don't remember much, all I know is that he had a drink and it was very short.
I've tried youtube, yahoo, and even searched for tv shows from 2007-2009 trying to find commercial info for them and nothing:(

Hama-chan! I love the Tsuribaka series. They tend to be pretty stupid, but that is right at my level--at least with Japanese. :)

Recently, Nishida has become the spokesperson for the Lottery here in Japan. The advertisement you've posted is for that very thing, in fact (advertising for the "summer jumbo").

Maybe you could try a search on 'Japan' 'Lottery' 'Commercial' or something similar.
