Like 求!
I've always written 様 like 水 (with one continuous vertical line, of course)... Doubt anyone has noticed. Writing that one stroke bottom-to-top sounds like a chore

I write the right part of 様 as 5 strokes, but it's hard to explain the strokes without actually drawing it out. The ki-hen is only 3 or sometimes 2; I'm glad that other people don't have to read my notes.
(求 is 4 strokes or 3)

Re: Another kanji riddle!
Well I am just now learning to write the kanji, so I actually write all the strokes.
Call me crazy.
木 - Four stroke element - written w/ 3 strokes here
羊 - Six stroke element - written w/ 3 strokes here
米 - Five stroke element written w/ one long flowing stroke!?
Are all the strokes actually there? Am I missing something?
Call me crazy.

You should check out the simplified Hanzi characters. It's unnatural I tell you.

The difference is, you can compare the grass script version to the print version and understand where the hell the grass script one comes from.
(Well, maybe not the one on the bottom left, but even that one's not a big leap from the one on the right.)
