That sounds similar to what I have at home. What file did you try to download, which didn't work?

Phreadom recently beautified the chat explanation page. Try going through his instructions. It should have no problem with XP.

I am also looking for people to study with. I made it through the genki 1 book a few months ago, but i took a break and now i want to go back and make sure I have everything memorized before moving onto Genki II.
