These are the kanjis and grammar I found in the first 2 pages of the prologue.
It's awfully long, sorry, though I did not find much grammar...
I tried to be more complete on the ２級　漢字 than on the １級、based oin the list of Meguro language school.
I don't know for you, but I have enough trouble remembering the 1000 kanjis for 2 級, so I tend to save the others for the future.

Actually, I was thinking it might be good to put this in a seperate thread, since, yes, it will be long lists and it might interfere with our questions on the book....

The chat went differently from what I thought it would be like. I was expecting to go sentence by sentence, pointing out JLPT stuff and doing explanations as we went along. But that would prob have taken way too long anyway... I'll prepare differently for next chat. See if I can have a typed version and a rough translation at hand (but I might be over estimating myself here )

So, are we sticking to textual questions during the chat for now and listing (and discussing, of course) JLPT grammar and kanji on the forum?
I think it's important to all of us thinking about how we want to do this...
We'll surely get a routine going after a few chats.

...O, I find I was going to assign next pages, but I guess I'll check to see if I can find the log...maybe other arrangements have been made....

Yes!! Thanks for the hint. There are many interesting things like this I want to learn from the Japanese novel series. (It's not easy for me to understand Fuyumi Ono sensei's plot of the whole story) As a child, he seems seldom understands everything the adults do, and from reading the novel I can feel that he is struggling to make sense out of all the doubts filling his mind......
