This is quite a fun game that I play on another forum. You make a statement, about the person after you, then they say if it's true or not. Then they post another statement, and so on. Post it in characters and then add kana or roumaji underneath, if you want.

Example:
１．下の人は中国語で話せる。
1. Shita no hito wa Chuugokugo de hanaseru.

２．はい、話せる。
2. Hai, hanaseru.

I'll start it off:
下の人はブログがある。
Shita no hito wa burogu ga aru.

Also, ので can't be used without a complete sentence before it. Try something like "いいえ、チャットは使ってませんので・・・"

I think he'd want to reverse that, 僕は日本語の辞書が要るので、チャット部屋は使ってません。

(ので or から follows the reason, not precedes it.)

Nope, I didn't really understand it at all, but I felt like an idiot to ask for an English translation.

Makes me think that when we go all out kanji/kana that we might want to include an English translation below, especially for the beginners.

Correct. 丁寧語 = polite speech = masu/desu form.

Unless you're talking about a point in time in the past when you hadn't yet had the experience of going, drop the でした.

下の人は海が好きです。

そうですが、あまり行ったことはありません。

下の人はアメリカ人です。
