すごいよ!天才だ :)
With all those great results I feel kinda bad just barely passing 4-kyuu after 2 years of studies. Made me happy nevertheless

Although honestly, whey they can't do that is a bit beyond me. Creating 4 new tests per year(one per level) shouldn't be all that difficult.
The tests are different each year; you can buy old tests from bookstores.

Re: JLPT Results?
皆、合格おめでとうございます!
After nearly 2 years of studies I managed to pass 3 kyu with a nice score :
文字・語彙 97/100
聴解 91/100
読解・文法 185/200
総合点 373/400
FeralBoyさん, I must admit I admire your decision to sit 3 kyu with oly six months of studying Japanese. If I'd done that, I doubt I would've even gotten as much as 10%. So heads up and don't feel discouraged! I'm sure that you'll pass the exam this year if you keep this pace up.

Congratulations to all who went to the test! Being there counts! Even if one doesnt pass, one learns so much IMO.

Re: JLPT Results?
I did level 4 because I was veeery busy and couldn't study much in that dates.
I got 390/400. We needed a bit more of grammar for 3 kyuu, we hadn't done the passive voice yet, we did it 3 weeks ago. For kanjis it was OK, because we already knew the ones in the 3kyuu, and vocabulary as well.
Next year I'll do the 3kyuu.

Re: JLPT Results?
Took the test last December and failed miserably. Well, now I know better. I'm not sure I will make an attempt this year because I have not been studying recently. At least I know what to expect.

Re: JLPT Results?
Took 3級 and scored a 364/400 (91%).
Bit surprised, given that I'd taken the test severely hung over & didn't study/learn all the material covered on the exam.
Overall I've studied Japanese a long time, so if anything, I'm waaaaay behind the curve.
Started studying Japanese in 93, returned to it at the end of 06 after a 4 year break and realized that I'd forgotten a LOT.
The first time around, I solely focused on speaking (didn't lose too much of that) and I'd only learned maybe 100 kanji.
So Kanji & reading have been the main focus of my studies since 06, with a minor focus on the grammar.
I would love to shoot for 2級 in 09 but haven't been studying so much this year and even if I had, going from the 250 kanji that I'd mastered in time for 3級 to the 1023 for 2級 is a tall order! Not to mention all the added vocabulary & grammar points.
