Shoujo is the flowery girlish type of art, and Shounen is stuff that looks more cartoony right?

shojo is girl-themed manga like sailor moon, and shounen, like dragon ball z or...eeto...those others boyish ones.

i prefer shoujo because i like girly things more and all of the shonens are kinda boring or just a little too boy for me. but i like naruto though! lol

They have inuyasha in Shonen? I thought they only had Dragon Ball Z, Naruto, One Piece (is that spelled right:|:DLOL), and a couple others.
I perfer Shojo Beat. They have more manga that I like. I dont really like a lot of the Shonen manga.

Inuyasha runs in Shounen SUNDAY, not Shounen Jump. (Along with other well-known titles (now available in English) Meitantei Conan/Detective Conan, Yakitate!! Japan, MAR, Midori no Hibi/Midori's Days (ended) and my personal favorite, Kekkaishi.) The stories you mentioned, ebear, run in Shounen Jump.

I don't prefer either sort over the other--I prefer a good story to a bad one. :P I enjoy all types of manga and don't really worry about what kind it is. And anyway, sometimes it's hard to tell.

I like Shonen Manga best as I'm a bit of a tomboy! I hate girlish Anime and Manga like Sailormoon and all. I like things like One Piece, Naruto, Inuyasha. I even used to love Dragonball.

I don't watch a lot of anime, but I do like Chobits and Cowboy Bebop. However, I also like Cardcaptor Sakura, so I think I don't have a favorite between shojo and shonen.
