Hand-Written Japanese (Photo)
Hand-written Japanese can appear very different from printed Japanese. I spotted this sign at work the other day and took a photo of it just to share with you guys.
If anyone chooses to reply to this post and include what the sign says, for the first couple of replies please use the "spoiler" tags so others can also have a chance to figure it out on their own.

I expected you old hands wouldn't have any trouble with it. But I thought some of the beginners might find it interesting.

And I am sure they will, it took me some time to decipher it, but then again I am not very used to Japanese handwriting yet. And as you point out, it is very different from the printed writing, and very often I have no chance at all reading it.

I sure did
I checked the other answers - well, the answer, and it looks like I guessed right.

I might have been able to figure out the top one... But the bottom one was a total scribble... After checking the answer, it does make a lot of sense though. But that's after cheating.

I first thought it was 偉反... but then realized that that isn't a word, and I had gotten the kanji wrong for 違反.

I like the fact that the pen didn't come completely off the paper even between the two kanji.

Isn't it common not to lift the brush/pen between kanji in scribbl -- err, cursive Japanese?

Re: Hand-Written Japanese (Photo)
This reminds me of the reason why they stress so much to learn stroke order... so when you see something like this you can almost guess it by stroke order alone.
I admit that I cheated and looked at the spoilers, but once I see those I can pretty much follow how they were written and it makes sense.
