to be fair, that is a handwriting evaluation thread, where the op wants to make a handwritten conversation. Personally, writing on paper and scanning it is too much trouble for me. I paid $200 for this pen and tablet to write with my computer, so to participate computer handwritten submissions need to be okayed.

I have a tablet PC and a scanner within arms reach of me, and it's STILL too much work for me...

What does that say about me?

I think it's interesting that you keep your notes in English rather than Dutch. Any reason for that?

It's not entirely in English; "gewoonlÿk", "dehele (betekenis)", and "shuilpl?? regen" are Dutch. So she's actually mixing both languages, which makes it even more interesting.

As for the the use of English?? No reason, really. But all Japanese text books are in English, as were our classes, (and half the time my thoughts are English, so....) so for me, Japanese and English are tightly woven together. But sometimes the first (or best) translation that pops into my head is Dutch, hence the mixture.

I'm Dutch too and strangely I also do that, my notes are more in English than Dutch and it does have to do that most material is in English I guess.
I posted mine on the other thread
