Corresponding with a female Japanese
Hi people,
To start with what I'm doing,
I've corresponding (through real letters) with a Japanese female for months, and this is the 2nd time I'm going to write her back.
She sent me a really neat book containing all kinds of Japanese armors(in Japanese of course), so I'm thinking in buying her something as a form of grattitude.
But I don't know what do buy, really. I live in Holland, so she probably doesn't have much use with books written in Dutch.
It doesn't have to be fancy, just some kind of a souvenir, and it has to be flat or atleast small.
Any ideas what would be cool to buy? (she is an illustrator for a comic company, maybe if that helps)
There's a souvenir shop nearby, maybe I can take a look there as wel... But I'm still puzzled.

What is she interested in? You could always send her some local souvenir.

Just my two cents.
A picture book for children would be fancy, if I were her.
Dick Bruna (might be too popular
)
Max Velthuijs
Harmen Van Straaten
Annemarie van Haeringen
Patsy Backx
etc.

That was weird, I attached a picture to my previous post which displayed fine, but checking this thread again a bit later the picture was gone and it just said "image". Oh well, I edited it back in... strange.
Edit: Now it's gone again - seems that every time I reload the page the picture disapprears. Am I doing something wrong?

I noticed the same thing, so I just added the picture for you as an attachment.
The site might disable hotlinking or something... who knows.
