Japanese Philosophy

Postby Minarai » Thu 08.27.2009 7:26 am

Hello there!
In these days I am reading a book of a great italian philosopher : Luciano De Crescenzo. Thanks to him, step by step, I am really understanding the occidental philosophy, which is based (essentially) on the theories and the ideas of the greek philosophers like Socrate, Platone, Aristotele and so on..
On their ideas new latins cultures have been built themselves.
Now, I was thinking about the role of the philosophy into the Japanese culture...I was thinking about Japanese philosophers: which things they discussed...or what arguments they criticized...
Since I am curious, could somebody give me some names of Japan philosophers?
Thank you!

Greetings,
Minarai.

Don't complain to me that people kick you when you're down. It's your own fault for lying there
