I haven't read クレヨンしんちゃん but I know there are しんちゃん　fans in TJP.

Sadly, the author (comic artist?) 臼井義人 went missing a week ago.
Now news says that a dead body, which was found by a climber at a mountain in Gunma prefecture, has been identified as his body.

I watched the series a lot when it was still on TV here in Germany some six years ago. I don't consider myself a huge fan, but I think it was fun and I liked it nevertheless. But that is.. kind of creepy. ôo
