What's schtolen? Wikipedia thinks it's a beer... but that doesn't seem right somehow.
Although I guess after the holiday stress a good beer might be just what the doctor ordered.

Schtolen is a kind of dry, spicy and fruity christmas cake.
They are absolutely amazing if you can get the actual german ones imported (Kaldi imports them from about November) but the Japanese-made ones feel a little lacking to me.
EDIT: Ok, I mis-spelled it, which is why it wasn't showing up on any searches.
Stollen is apparently correct, although my friends all pronounce it shtolen...

That's 'cause, in German, "st" is pronounced "sht" at the beginning of a word. (The same applies to "sp".)
