にゃにゃ (!)
Wow, I've put "にゃにゃ" in my signature the last couple of posts.
Then in Rikai-chan it stated that "にゃにゃ" is not only "cat miaow", or "cat", but also means "sexual intercourse" and "making out"!
Yikes!
Can anyone tell me what a Japanese person would think if he or she say a post signed "にゃにゃ"? What's the *main* connotation of this term?
Maybe "ニャニャ" as onomatopoeia for a mew would be more appropriate?

Re: にゃにゃ (!)
I'm sure it'd be understood as a cat noise, especially if there were anything else that might hint at such (such as a cat avatar).
You could also spell it にゃんにゃん or にゃあにゃあ, but I have no idea if they might also have those connotations.

From EDICT;
にゃにゃ; にゃんにゃん (n,vs) (1) cat meow; miaow; (n) (2) cat; (n,vs) (3) sexual intercourse; making out
にゃあにゃあ (n) (1) (baby talk for) cat; (2) (See にゃあ) mewing (of a cat); meow; miaow
Looks like the latter suggestion may be safer.
Don't complain to me that people kick you when you're down. It's your own fault for lying there
