My Story: A Funny True Story That Brought Me Here
Ok. Here goes:
I was sitting in the hot computer lab at my school in Southern California. It was really hot, something aweful like 95 F. Anyhow, I was doing a report on Medieval Times, when a Mexican girl, who had been in the bathroom ran in, and right in front of my fat, hairy, white teacher started speaking Spanish quickly to her friends. Suddenly my teacher starts yelling at her, and, since I have a headache from the burning heat, I take notice turn my head and listen in on the girl getting burned by my teacher,
"Cristina, why were you speaking Spanish just now?"
"Well Mr. Hills, my friends and I speak it faster than English."
"Don't you know it is EXTREMLY rude to speak a foreign languege in front of a non speaker?"
The girl, now evidently pissed says, "No." and under her breath says, "Gringo Gordo"
Another Mexican is sitting next to her, now as pissed as me at Mr. Hills, and she says," That's not right. You should be able to speak whatever you want to."
So I replied," I know what we can do! If we learn Japanese fluently, and speak it in front of him, things will get VERY funny."
And here I am. - Grant (applause now, or I get my Nortes on you. ^_^.)

So the whole reason that you are learning Japanese is to annoy some girls? See if you can find the pulsimur (sp?) serries you can get the first 8 lessons for about $20. In about a week you'll know about 20 phrases and their variations. Just enough to annoy people.

mewcurano (sp?) I'm not pissing off the girls, I'm pissing off the teacher. Gordo gringo means fat whiteboy. Also, it's not the only reason. I've always been intrigued by Japanese. Just thought I'd share it because it's strange but true.
