Hi all, I know I don't post much in the forum. I promise I creep around when I can. I have a few sentences that I am unsure of, can anyone offer assistance? In other words...

文法天使が僕に呼び出されています～
(I am summoning a grammar angel.) - Is this sentence correct or extremely lame? Would I make a native giggle or put a perplexed look on his or her face?

弱さが欲しがらないんだ。
弱いになるのが欲しくない。
(I don't want to be/become weak.) - Are either of these sentences correct?

早口を理解するために根気が要る。
(Understanding fast speech requires patience) - Am I even close?

You have some cute sentences. Haha.

1. 文法天使が僕に呼び出されています

For this one you wrote the translation "I am summoning a grammar angel." However, for the sentence you used passive voice; it would therefore translate to "A grammar angel is being summoned by me" in English. Since in your English translation you said "I am summoning...", that means that YOU are the subject of the sentence. It should therefore be:
僕は文法の天使を呼び出しています。

弱さが欲しがらないんだ。／弱いになるのが欲しくない。

Close. For the second one, you conjugated 弱い incorrectly. To make it an adverb, it'd be come 弱く, so 弱くなる。
Therefore I think you'd shoot for:
弱くなるのが欲しくない。 OR 弱くなりたくない。

早口を理解するために根気が要る。

Yup, you are close for this one. It technically makes sense, is grammatically correct, and so on but personally at the end I'd write ...根気が必要（ひつよう）です。

The "I don't want to become weak" sentence was the one I was most confused about. I thought splicing an -i adjective to create an adverb simply modified the verb such as:

早く飛ぶ...

...wouldn't this mean "to quickly jump/fly"? The reason I'm confused is that I've also read sentences such as:

テレビのボリュームを大きくしてください。 - "Please do the television's volume greatly" (Please turn the volume up). I guess what I'm saying is that I can wrap my head around "Do the volume greatly" but not "I don't want to become weakly" for some reason.

Is this a nuance issue, where I simply need more exposure, or should I go back to studying? Thanks again!!

I think your grasp is almost correct.
The key here would be the usage of the verb "なる".

If you are a young kid, you'd be frequently asked this question by adults :
大きくなったら何になりたい？　(What do you want to be when you grow up?)
Your answer to the question would be like :
大きくなったら宇宙飛行士になりたい。(When I get big)(I want to be an astronaut)

Here, in the 大きくなる, the function of the verb is a bit different from the ones of "飛ぶ" or "する".
The verb means that you change from a state to another state.
And the adverb describes the outcome of the change.
アリスは、薬を飲んで、小さくなりました。(Alice took a pill and became small)
ぼくは、もっと強くなりたい！ (I want to be stronger!)
元気になって、明るくなれよ。(You have to pull yourself together and cheer up)

Here are some variations for you.　Only a subtle nuance issue.

弱くなりたくない。
弱くなりたくなどない。
弱くなりたくなんかない。
弱くなんかなりたくない。
弱くはなりたくない。

弱くなるのはいやだ。
弱くなるなんていやだ。

弱さは要らない。
弱さなんて欲しくない。
