はじめまして! わたしわ Jason です。 どぞう よろしく!

I am yet another new learner who is very grateful for this site, the resources on offer here have been a great help! ありがとう ございます!

So far I have learnt both kana systems, and have started working through the "Japanese for Busy People" (kana) textbook. I am finding this textbook very useful indeed, however I am studying on my own and am quite worried I may be mispronouncing words. I practiced the sounds of each kana as I was learning them, and all dialogues etc are written in kana, so hopefully I will be ok!

I have a question :) When is the best time to start learning the Kanji? If it is best to start early, what is the best way to approach them? Learn both readings for each symbol first? I'm sorry if this question has been asked before, I have been reading past forum posts, but there are a lot of them! I wanted to introduce myself first.

Well, I look forward to learning Nihongo with you all.

Jason! :)
