New here...

Post by Erie » Sun 08.08.2010 1:59 pm

Hello everyone, you can call me "Erie". I was born and raised in America and have developed a great interest in both Japanese language and culture.

I came here thinking that maybe I could get better insight on both subjects, and, hopefully, gain a few friends from around the world. A lovely bonus would be someone who is actually willing to help me learn Japanese (a tutor) through instant messenger or PM's.

I am 18 years old and a very quick learner in the term of language. Personally, I have had more experience with listening to the Japanese language and translating Romaji to English. I have difficult reading Japanese characters such as Katakana, Kanji, and Hiragana.

Thank you for reading! If you'd like to be my friend or help me out, feel free to PM me.

I think a lot of people read the forums, but not as many actually post. :)

With that said, Welcome to TJP! :)
