View topic - JLPT in NYC

Hi all,

I can't seem to log on to the NY website of JLPT and I'm trying to remember at which school/university the test will be held....
anyone here can help me with this?

Yikes, today I received an email from the Japan Foundation in LA to let us know that their system has been seriously hacked and all our personal info, including cc numbers, have been stolen.... :shock:

We're going to be checking today to see if we actually used our main debit/credit card, or if we used a disposable one at the time. Either way, not good. :sweatdrop:

According to my cc-company, there is no need to worry as long as I didn't profide the 3 digit safety code on the back of the cc.
According to the Japan Foundation, they don't ask for this code during registration, so I wouldn't have given it.....

I wouldnt contact the test site because they dont deal with the administration of the test. JFLA does and I actually talked to them today and they are having some web issues and they did send out that message over the weekend to infom their users about whats going on. Sucks, but i guess these types of things are getting more prevalent with all the evil countries out their that dont do anything about internet crimes like this. Anyways, it just hurts all us users because apparently theres no more online application, only fax or usps mail. Only good thing is the registration deadline has been extended. Oh and if you registered before this weekend, you dont have to worry about re-registering or anything like that...
