Log in problems

クレイ先生！I believe I've encountered a problem... Here's a little background: When I first signed up, I indicated that I wanted to be "remembered" by the site so I didn't have to type in my password every time. That worked fine until today. For some strange reason, I wasn't logged in automatically and my password was not recognized. I had a new password sent to me so I could log in and that worked fine, thank goodness. Looking back, though, I don't recall ever changing my password. Whether it was a problem on my end or a bug in the forum system, I'm not sure... I wonder what could have caused this...

Hmmm... I am not sure what caused that. The remember me checkbox would place a cookie on your computer. You may have cleaned out your browser's cookies or other temp files. Or maybe the cookie just expired and had to be recreated.

Hmm... Odd, yes? Anyway, no harm done. I did go into a state of near panic when it happened, though, hehe. :p

Yes, Clay is right about that you did probably clean your browsers cookies.

You have to remember that passwords on this page are "Case Sensitive". Which means that if your password was "Japan", you couldn't be logged in by writing "japan" etc. I can't explain this better in english!
