Postby chikara » Wed 10.06.2010 11:06 pm

I was eating at a local kaiten zushi restaurant, called oddly enough "Sushi Train", and instead of edamame (枝豆) they had chamame (茶豆). I have never come across chamame before and they looked (green not brown) and tasted just the same as the edamame that I have eaten at numerous Japanese restaurants and bought from local Asian Grocery stores.

Is there a difference and if so what is it?
