with my pc's....sometimes I can not see the latest posts in, ie the shiritori thread....I notice a new name or I know for sure I posted a new word, but I only see old posts for quite a while....do more people have this prob?

You need to be logged in to see the latest posts. Non-logged in users see the cached versions of the pages, and thusly won't see the new posts right away. (for up to an hour, until the caches refresh)
