Has anyone tried to play with Japanese speaking people over Playstation Network?

Is it possible?

I made a Japanese PSN account, and it doesn't change anything except for the PSN Store.

I would assume that if you have a Japanese PSN and the Japanese game, it SHOULD connect you to Japanese servers, though I haven't tried it yet.....

Don't forget to change your Japanese console language settings to Japanese as well....

I play people from Japan all the time, and I didn't have to make a Japanese PSN account...doesn't mean I know enough to communicate with them in Japanese though...
Wouldn't it depend on whether the game's servers offered global play or not?
