Tattoo in Kana

Hey guys,

so the story is that my friend wants to get a tattoo below his Japanese-styled graphic.
He basically wants it to say 'I die as a warrior', and so since he knows I learn Japanese he has enlisted my help. Unfortunately, I don't have that much confidence in my own Japanese skills that would allow me in good conscience to translate that phrase for him so I've come to this forum for some guidance.

So far, I've come up with 「強者として死ぬ」.

So I was wondering whether you guys could come up with better translations that suits a cool tattoo.

Thanks in advance!

EDIT: Quick check on Google Translate gets me 「私は戦士として死ぬ」. 「戦士」か「強者」かどっちがいい?
