translating technical terms

I tried to translate this following sentence
Our client is interested in comparing the performance of the different inverters used in different DC fast chargers.

My translation is like this.
私たちのクライアントは、さまざまなインバータの性能でさまざまなDC急速充電器に使用されるを比較する際に興味を持っています。

I tried to put it in a simple form XXX is interested in comparing A that is used in B. But I'm sure that my translation isn't natural. or maybe doesnt really make sense. Please help!

Is it common to use クライアント. I know that is used in IT as in クライアントサーバ and the like. In Japanese for Busy People I they use お客さん (おきゃくさん) which I assume is quite formal. There is also just 客 (きゃく) .

You are right..I am not using クライアント。 Instead I used お客様。

How about 依頼者? Does that get used very often in situations where we would use "client" or "business customer" in English?

It depends on the line of business, or who you are talking to, or the style of your writing or speech. Generally speaking:
お客様 customer, shopper, client, patron
顧客 client, regular customer, customer, business customer
クライアント client, enterprise customer, business customer
And 依頼人（依頼者）is used only for the clients who request something in person, such as lawyer’s clients.
