Hello!
In my case, I first started liking Japanese culture a few years ago with anime and manga. Since then I've moved on, exploring different parts of Japanese entertainment, etc. Recently I decided to pick it up again, because from watching many shows/movies, I actually understand a lot of what they're saying, but still don't have full understanding of certain things (like grammar).
I learn Spanish in school and take conversational Mandarin Chinese classes on weekends. Because of school and learning the Chinese writing system from scratch, I decided that it'd be easier to just learn conversational Japanese as well, so no hiragana and katakana for me (yet).

Don't complain to me that people kick you when you're down. It's your own fault for lying there

Re: Hello!
Thanks for the welcome! As for how I manage, well I've been taking Spanish for years (in school every day) so it's not that hard anymore, but I have trouble keeping up with the Mandarin, which is for 2 hours on the weekends. I'm honestly not good at time managment, but I've been trying.
